Peer Review Process

The International Journal of Education Management and Sociology (IJEMS) applies the following peer review policies:

  1. Authors must ensure that the manuscript is free from plagiarism and does not violate any copyright before submission.
  2. Every submitted manuscript will undergo an initial review by the editor to evaluate its conformity with the journal's scope, formatting, and submission guidelines. During this stage, the editor may communicate with the author for revisions or may decide to reject the manuscript if it is not suitable.
  3. Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening will be forwarded to at least two reviewers for content evaluation through a double-blind review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
  4. The review process will assess the manuscript based on its novelty, objectivity, research methods, scientific contribution, clarity of conclusions, and quality of references.
  5. Reviewers will provide recommendations for improvement and suggest whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.
  6. The final decision will be made by the editor, considering the reviewers' feedback and recommendations.
  7. The decision of the editor-in-chief is final.
  8. All stages of the review process are conducted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

By implementing a rigorous and transparent double-blind review process through the OJS platform, The International Journal of Education Management and Sociology (IJEMS) is committed to maintaining the quality and academic integrity of every published manuscript. This process is intended to foster original, relevant, and impactful scholarly contributions in the fields of education management and sociology.
