Author Guidelines

Guidelines for authors wishing to submit manuscripts to The International Journal of Education Management and Sociology (IJEMS). Before submitting articles to IJEMS. Make sure that you have read and understand the Purpose and Scope of the journal, and that you have paid attention to the format of your manuscript as described below. Unsuitable manuscripts will not be considered and published.

Registration

To submit manuscripts to IJEMS. You must first register as an Author. When registering, you need to check the box as an Author, explicitly and you will be registered as a Reader or you as a submitter of new manuscripts when you login.

Originality and length

IJEMS manuscripts are typically between 5000 and 10,000 words long, including abstracts, figures, tables and references, but are also lengthy outside the acceptable range. Manuscripts submitted to IJEMS, must have never been published and are not being considered by other journals or for conference proceedings. IJEMS and other conferences may arrange for republishing on IJEMS, as special acknowledgment for existing work out of the ordinary. Please note that you will be responsible for confirming with relevant conditions according to IJEMS management procedures, as per approval and the ethics committee.

Manuscript format before submission

Manuscripts are submitted in English, using spelling and punctuation according to the Oxford English Dictionary. Citations and references in the text must be in accordance with the most recent edition in accordance with the American Psychological Association Publication Manual

Author’s Statement

1. Submission files in .doc/.docx, Microsoft Word document file formats. The letter page layout is used.
2. The manuscript does not infringe any copyright or other third party rights.
3. Text complies with the stylistic and bibliographical requirements set out in the Author's Guide.
4. Sources and references are quoted in accordance with the methodological principles of scientific papers.
5. The manuscript has never been published under that title in any other scientific journal, in printed or electronic versions.
6. Eligible to obtain permission from the copyright holder to reproduce the manuscript material and you have indicated the source.
7. If the manuscript is subsequently republished or reused in scientific journals or other publications, both domestically and abroad, it will be noted that the manuscript was first published in the IJEMS Journal according to the reference.
8. Manuscripts with multiple authors, you have obtained authorization to enter into this Agreement on behalf of all authors, and have read and agreed to the terms of this Agreement, as author or correspondence.
9. We will send upon request describing processes, calculations and evidence, based on quantitative analysis such as data sets, calculations, and results by additional instruments requested by reviewers and editors.
10. The author of the manuscript has no conflict of interest that could affect the integrity of the manuscript and the findings presented.

Abstract 

Write a single-spaced abstract of no more than 250 words. Keywords---maximum of 5 keywords separated by semicolon

Heading Level (TNR 12 bold)

Use Times New Roman 12 bold font, throughout unless otherwise stated.  Do not indent the first line of paragraphs, with those following headings or from subheadings. Use single spacing for the main body of the document. Pay attention to single spacing between sentences in paragraphs. Use single spacing for the main document. Indent 1.0 cm on the next paragraph. Indent 1.0 cm in the next paragraph. Indent 1.0 cm in the next paragraph. And indent the next paragraph 1.0 cm. 

Write quotations of up to 50 words, and indent them as shown in. Use TNG 10, as the font size. And if quoting more than 50 words, then indent as shown. Using TNG 10, as the font size.

Do not use numbers or letters in headings and sub-headings (Example A. Introduction 1. Body, outline). Use the following style for headings and sub-headings, namely

Use the first paragraph to create sub-headings at the following level and run the text after the full stop.

Including tables and figures in the manuscript 

(Use Times New Roman font size 11 for - Table 1, Figure 1. Use Times New Roman font size 11 for labels. Here is an example of a simple table and figure)

A list of references of the last five (5) years would be better, 

Manuscripts published in The International Journal of Education Management and Sociology (IJEMS), may be copied, communicated and shared in their published form for non-commercial purposes provided full attribution is given to the authors and the journal. Authors may make additional separate contractual arrangements for distribution on a non-exclusive basis of the published version of the journal (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with acknowledgment of publication as originally in this journal.
